Nikita Evglevskii

Round is a small incense holder designed for simple rituals of fragrance. Its shallow central opening comfortably holds a stick of Palo Santo or similar aromatic woods, allowing the smoke to rise slowly while the ash settles back into the clay.

This piece is unglazed, allowing the texture of the clay to stay exposed. It was finished in a pit firing, where flame, smoke, ash, and organic materials leave unpredictable marks permanently embedded in the surface. The interior is sealed with beeswax, making the vase suitable for water in most cases. I recommend using only a small amount and replacing it regularly.
